That girl in the corner…

It was her first day at college, as she entered the premises, she was little nervous, her heartbeat was little faster than normal, she had a lot of questions in her mind moreover confusions, she was feeling confident and edgy at the same time, but she didn’t showed up her uneasy feelings on her face, her face was full of confidence and was shining bright…

The freshers were ask to head towards the auditorium, where they were about to be addressed by the director of the college. She was always the loner, she didn’t knew the way to auditorium, she was confused and didn’t knew what to do, and then a group of girls and boys passed her, she followed them. ‘ what an idiot I am, I couldn’t figure out a way to auditorium, I am good for nothing, please lord be with me, you know, what level of stupid I am ‘ , she was murmuring to herself all the way to auditorium. Finally she reached, the surrounding around her, was very unfamiliar, everybody in there seemed to have known eachother like forever, she was feeling a bit nostalgic. She felt a bit tired, she has been roaming around the college for like an hour, she wanted to finally relax, but that relaxation was yet to come…

She looked around the entire auditorium, it was huge and full of students, chairs were laid, some were sitting, some were standing, chit – chatting, feeling comfortable, trying to know eachother, making friends for the rest of the semesters, but she… She was standing in the corner, all alone, pretending not to care what was going around her, but deep inside her heart, she had a very mixed and weird feeling, she had no clue what to do, she was getting very anxious. ‘ oh god! When will this counseling start and end, so that I can immediately head to home and relax? ‘ she murmured to herself…

Nervousness is very usual, things feel heavy for that particular moment, getting anxiety, feeling nostalgic is all a part of the beginning… And the girl in that corner… She was feeling the same, but she didn’t knew… It was just a beginning...

She was feeling very odd standing in the corner of that huge auditorium, where anyone could barely listen her murmuring, and could hardly notice her unusual usual anxiety, she hid herself in that corner, she didn’t wanted to get noticed, she didn’t wanted anyone to see her, she barely spoke to anyone in that auditorium full of atleast 200 students. She was feeling peculiar, thinking about the rest of her semesters, she thought that she is the only girl standing in the corner trying to hide herself from others, but never did she realised, there were three more corners in the room, and every corner was occupied by a girl like her… That girl in the corner, didn’t knew she isn’t alone, she had a known – unknown, unspoken company all the time, a company that wasn’t bonded by the words, but was bonded by the same weird feelings, bonded by the corners
